Analysis (BIA):
Whenever someone comes to me and wants to get back in
shape, I tell them they need to know their body's composition.
The best way to do this is to have a BIA performed.
We do this by placing electrodes on your right wrist
and foot. A current is run through your body for just a
few seconds and data is collected about your body's composition.
There are several measurements but the one people want to know
the most is percent body fat. This is a great thing to do
when you start a season of working out. Then we test you once a
month and you can plot your changes in body composition.
Hopefully, the percent body fat will decrease while the percent
lean muscle increases.
Graston Technique (Instrument
Assisted Myofascial Release)
Graston Technique®
(GT) is a soft tissue diagnostic and therapeutic method that has
been used in outpatient clinics since 1994. GT instruments –
made of stainless steel, specifically designed and developed as
an alternative to manual transverse friction massage – are used
as an aid in the diagnosis and treatment of soft tissue
pathology and dysfunction. The instruments provide diagnostic
tactile feedback to both the clinician and the patient, as the
instruments act as a focused extension of the clinician’s own
hands.

FootLevelers for Postural Stabilization
Your feet are the foundation of your body. They support you when
you stand, walk, or run. And they help protect your spine,
bones, and soft tissues from damaging stress as you move around.
Your feet perform better when all their muscles, arches, and
bones are in their ideal stable positions.
The foot is constructed with three arches which, when properly
maintained, give exceptional supportive strength. These three
arches form a supporting vault that distributes the weight of
the entire body.
If there is compromise of one arch in the foot, the other arches
must compensate and are subject to additional stresses, which
usually leads to further compromise.
I can scan your feet and make a customized foot orthotic for
your specific need.
